The control post electric deluge system Series 769N PCD model. The valves, in service, keep the clapet closed by means of a ratchet, by the force exerted by the pressure of the water on the diaphragm actuator. Its opening occurs automatically, when the pressure applied to the actuator is released by means of a sensing system.
The deluge valve is opened by a signal from the detection system installed in the same area as the sprinklers or nozzles. When the valve opens, water floods the pipes and discharges through all sprinklers or nozzles.

The deluge system is typically used for high risks that require immediate discharge of water over the entire area to be protected.
