Nitrogen Dioxide Detector SDN by COFEM
Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) sensor from the manufacturer COFEM, compatible with COsensor, MiniCO and ZafirCO plants and designed according to UNE EN-50545-1 and UNE 23300.
Based on electrochemical technology that measures the concentration of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) gas in the environment, emitting the measurement to the control unit and activating the ventilation or wire if the programmed threshold is exceeded.
The NO2 sensor comes with a red led that indicates the following:
- Flashing every 10 seconds at rest.
- Connected to conventional power plants, the measurement of NO2 is transformed to a reading equivalent to that of CO, measured in ppm. They correspond to 100 ppm of CO in a linear fashion for every 2.5 ppm of NO2.
- Conventional power stations: Double blinking when 50 ppm is exceeded, and fixed LED when 200 ppm is exceeded
- Directional control units: Double blinking when the concentration is equal or higher than the programmed ventilation level , and fixed LED when the programmed alarm threshold is exceeded.
The optimal distribution of the equipment according to the current regulations would be one detector per 200 – 300 m2, at a height of 1.5 m and 2 m from the ground.
The sensors come with a factory calibration to operate throughout their operating life.
Features of COFEM’s SDN nitrogen dioxide detector
