Insulated barrier for conventional power plants
This isolation barrier is used for intrinsic safety applications. Transfers DC signals from fire alarms, smoke detectors and temperature sensors in hazardous areas. It can also be used to control audible alarms I/P converters, electric solenoids, LEDs and sirens.
Reverse polarity protection prevents insulator damage caused by faulty wiring.
Because this isolator is loop-powered, it uses technical data to verify that the appropriate voltage is available for field devices.
