FD805R-N smoke detector controller
The FD805R-N consists of an infrared transmitter and receiver in a compact housing, and a ground-level controller, which also serves as a user interface for configuration and maintenance. The detector’s infrared signal is reflected in a prism and analyzed for smoke. It isespeciallydesigned to be used when spot smoke detectorsare not applicable due to height or inaccessibility. The FD805R-N also features a motorized head, which allows automatic realignment in cases where there is a gradual change of construction. The unit has relay outputs for alarm and failure and adapts as such to all types of fire panels
How do I install the FD805R-N smoke detector driver?
System commissioning is simplified with a number of innovative features that combine to make the FD805R-N the fastest and easiest-to-install detector of its kind. Once the detector head is connected, using the Easifit First Fix system, an integral LASER can be activated, which aligns along the optical path of the beam. This allows the reflective prism to be viewedquickly and with reliability. Once the LASER has been used to approximately align the beam, the AutoOptimize beam alignment system takes control and automatically directs the beam to the optimal position.
Can I customize the FD805R-N smoke detector controller system?
The system can be fully customized,depending on the requirements of each installation. Both alarm thresholds (sensitivity) and alarm/failure time can be set from the System Controller at ground level. In addition, the integrated accessory assembly allows the use of a variety of standard accessories that solve any specific installation problem.
