The A30XDC duct detector box consists of a box, tubes, fire detector socket and fasteners (screws, nuts, etc.). The fire detector is not included. The socket is compatible with both conventional and analog detector, so the equipment can be used with both systems. It is generally recommended to install this equipment pure smoke detectors (without thermal elements), since the heat detectors or thermal elements of the optical-thermal detectors can be activated by abruptly varying the air temperature in the ventilation ducts.
